Samuel Chukwueze Chimerenka is a professional Nigerian footballer who plays for the Nigerian National Team and Villarreal C.F – a Spanish football club in the Laliga.
He hails from Ugba Ibeku in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State and was born on the 22nd of May, 1999 into the family of the Chukwueze’s.
Samuel was born and brought up in a Christian home and he is the first child of the family with 2 younger siblings – a boy and a girl.
His father is a Minister of God and his mother is a nurse and they(Samuel and his siblings) were raised in a very strict Christian home.
Education
Samuel Chukwueze completed his primary school education in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria and proceeded to the Government College, Umuahia to complete his secondary education but later finished at Evangel College, Isiochi.

Football Career
Samuel fell in love with football at the age of 5 but started playing active football when he turned 8.
He draws his inspiration from Nigerian football legend – Jay-Jay Okocha.
He played for Future Hope U-8 & U-10 teams then he moved to New Generation Academy and played for a little while before joined Diamond Academy where his professional football career started.
Chukwueze experienced the biggest turn around of his professional career when he joined Villarreal CF‘s prolific youth setup from his Nigerian local side – Diamond Academy in 2017.
After being initially assigned to the club’s Juvenile A squad, he made his senior debut with the reserves on 15 April 2018, coming on as a second-half substitute for Sergio Lozano in a 1–1 Segunda División B away draw against CE Sabadell FC.
He scored his first goal for Villareal C.F on May 30th, 2018 after netting the second goal for his team in a 3–1 away defeat against Bilbao Athletic.
Chuwkueze made his official first-team debut on September 20, 2018, after replacing Nicola Sansone in a 2-2 home draw against Rangers for the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League.
