Top 10 Cheapest Polytechnics In Nigeria

Do you want to attend a polytechnic in Nigeria and you’re currently searching for cheap polytechnics? Then this post is for you as we’ll be talking about the cheapest polytechnics in Nigeria right now.

While some people believe universities are the best tertiary institutions to attend in the country, others believe that polytechnics are obviously the best because students tend to learn better technical and practical skills in these polytechnics or technical schools than in universities.

Many students in Nigeria often desire to have a taste of these technical skills/training offered in some of the cheap Nigerian polytechnics before eventually advancing into a university to continue their education.

Although many Nigerian parents don’t buy the idea of studying in polytechnics for their children/wards, polytechnic education remains one of the best available options for students who could not secure admission into a Nigerian university or some other students who cannot afford the high cost of tuition fees in some Nigerian Universities.

These cheap Nigerian polytechnics are mostly for those who don’t have sponsorship or any person or people to fund their schooling and other finances. The tuition fees of most Nigerian polytechnics can’t be compared to their counterparts – the universities that are slightly on the high side, especially private universities.

Polytechnics are more affordable with a payment structure that is more flexible than that of Nigerian universities. The major aim of polytechnics in Nigeria is to make tertiary education available for every Nigerian who is ripe for schooling regardless of their financial status.

This article contains a list of the top 10 cheapest polytechnics in Nigeria. It’s obvious that privately-owned polytechnics and universities are always on the high side in terms of school fees, so we’ll not be including them here.
